Christopher Henderson, PhD
Dr. Henderson currently serves as Vice President of Neurology at Biogen Inc. He is also a Professor in the department of Pathology & Cell Biology at Columbia University Medical School.
Dr. Henderson’s work has focused on the development of motor neurons. While at Columbia, Dr. Henderson co-founded and directed Columbia’s Center for Motor Neuron Biology and Disease, the Columbia Stem Cell Initiative, and the High-Throughput Screening and Chemistry Shared Facility. In addition, he has led Target ALS, a $25M privately-funded organization investing in ALS research in academic centers through the United States.
Dr. Henderson received his doctorate from the University of Cambridge.
