Martin Dahl, PhD
Dr. Dahl is a Research Fellow in Strategy Development for Takeda Pharmaceuticals. He leads external and internal project teams for Immune-Oncology, and contributes to Immunology and Oncology strategy and business development opportunities. Dr. Dahl joined Takeda in 2012 as an Associate Director of Translational Medicine. Prior to Takeda, Dr. Dahl led a group of researchers and multiple drug discovery projects in the Inflammation group at Roche.
Dr. Dahl earned his Bachelor of Sciences in Biology from the University of California at Irvine and went on to become the first and only American to receive a doctoral degree from the Department of Medicine at The University of Tokyo. Following his PhD, he completed a five year post-doc at Stanford University researching respiratory viral exacerbations of asthma and pulmonary immunology focusing on dendritic cell and T cell biology.
